Rachel Held Evans sure doesn’t know the Scriptures, but she’s smugly confident in her damned ignorance.

This is what happens when women try to teach men how to be men.

Don’t listen to women about how men should act. Don’t take advice from women.

A quick perusal of Twitter reveals RHE to be a “progressive” “Christian”, who believes in “social justice” and liberal politics. Meh.

This is also the same kind of place where the following sex and relationship advice for men comes from:

    –Looks don’t really matter

–It’s more important to be nice and kind

–Don’t try to improve your body because if you do and it’s not who you are, you’ll be fake and inauthentic and girls hate fake and inauthentic

–Don’t change, you don’t need to change, if you change youll be fake and inauthentic

–Be nice, be yourself, and someday girls will love you for who you are

Yes; we’ve discussed RHE and her ilk here before.

James White on The Dividing Line in April wrecked her diatribe on “Gay Christianity”. It’s a great listen when he does it.

Ah. No doubt he did a great job; he’s a bright, rational fellow.

Off-topic, but relevant after Shoebat removed my comment:

To which extent did Slavic paganism resemble Hinduism, as Obodrites raided Christian Danes in the early Middle Ages?

I think Jack Donovan’s book the” Way of Men” encapsulates masculinity for both good and evil men.

To be righteous to be good men must act like men.

        They are timeless, indeed.

Note the NIV translation deletes acting as men from translation. The current versions of the bible seem to be more feminist than the previous ones.

The newest NIV translation is atrocious, notorious for its ‘inclusivity’. It’s worse than the original, even.

When, OH WHEN, are people going to wake up and finally realize that the first adjective in that quote completely invalidates the second? She might as well be calling herself an “Atheist Christian,” a “Marxist Christian,” or a “Pagan Christian.”

I think deti, like us, knows that, hence the quotation marks.

Oh, I know deti’s well aware. I was thinking more of the world at large.

A mild and undeservedly merciful way to put it. Any woman who voices anything even hinting at “man up” or “let me show you how to be a man” deserves to have a deluxe-sized bar of Dial soap rammed into her mouth and down her throat, followed by a steel wool scrubbing of her tongue. If teeth are smashed and blood drawn in the process, so be it, if that’s what it takes to dissuade her from ever even thinking of ever again saying anything so obscene.

Whenever anyone uses the phrase ‘man up’, I’m inclined to stop listening, because almost always, it’s a woman or a neo-con or someone trying to manipulate others into doing whatever their bidding is; for some reason, the essence of masculinity apparently always happens to be doing whatever they happen to believe in.

Next time any woman or TradCuck of either sex starts off on what will obviously be a “man up” lecture, the response should be a very forceful and immediate shutdown. Even –especially– if it’s in a public forum. They shouldn’t even be given the chance to start. The more forcefully and regularly men start making it known that they won’t put up with that nonsense, the less of it there will eventually be to contend with.

Woman needs to meet a reformed error (attitude) readjustment tool.
First point: women should be silent in church.
Second point: elders should be men, firm in the faith, with a knowledge of scripture.
Third point: women thus should not correct elders, other elders do that.

Or she can run to the Unitarians, sacrificing her soul to avoid truth.
