Good riddance. It’s always wonderful when a filthy heretic passes.

    Cold.

I recall a headline from 1989 when hirohito died, undermining all the Hagiography:
“Hirohito Dead, joins Hitler in Hell. Remember Pearl Harbor.”

We pray for her children to be comforted, and that she may someday bathe in the divine light that she seems to have missed.

      Oh well!

I’m through with mourning those undermining the faith and our civilization with their filthy heresies. I instead will rejoice in their passing.

But I certainly feel sorry for her children, who are innocent of the sins of their mother and father.

God doesn’t take pleasure in the death of the wicked. (Ezek 33:11)

Honestly it’s an ugly attitude. Even when Chris Hitchens died and when Teddy Kennedy died, where I saw a similar “triumphant” attitude.

I like and respect you, but as silly as she was, either one of two things happened at her death, neither of which make this a good way to be. (Pro 24:17)

I didn’t know about that Hirohito headline, but I like it. 🙂

In what way do you imagine she might have any chance at someday “bathing in the divine light.”

Given her published views and recorded actions, I’d say the probabilities are low, but there is no way to know for certain. God has more information to work with. So, chance, yes, but personally I strive for higher odds.

Note how this “Christian” author — even on a platform like Twitter with limited characters — takes the time to say, “if all this is true.” Her primary self-description on Twitter was “doubt-filled believer.” But she had no doubts on her pro-abortion, pro-perversion, anti-patriarchy views. Just another phony leftist.

Thanks for the link! She was the worst. I loved outing her pro-abortion hypocrisy. If you are interested, here’s my overview of her overall body of work – https://eternity-matters.com/2016/08/06/with-rachel-held-evans-as-the-author-you-can-judge-a-book-by-the-cover/

Predictably, her fanboys/girls can’t defend a single point of her terrible theology. I scanned through hundreds of Tweets. Let’s just say that discernment isn’t their forte’. They’ll make a martyr out of her and won’t learn a thing.

Keep up the good work here!

Let’s just say that discernment isn’t their forte’.

That pretty much describes 95-plus percent of modern “Christians” in the western world.

However much I want to gloat over the loss of this wicked woman to hell. God brought this up:

    Proverbs 24:17-18
”17Do not gloat when your enemy falls,

and do not let your heart rejoice when he stumbles,

18or the LORD will see and disapprove,

and turn His wrath away from him. ”

I have to admit being torn about tjis. While I am happy the Evil One lost a key warrior in the fight to destroy Christianity, and she was exactly that: one who sought the destruction of the Faith, anytime someone dies is a sadness. Especially considering the fact that the loudest of the Reformed, JD Hall, James White et al, called for her repentance repeatedly and yet she would not.

She knows now exactly how wrong she was.

I suppose death is a sadness; but death not in a state of grace is tragic.

She was just an approved placeholder for her various heresies, to lead astray anyone dumb enough to listen to her. People like her are a dime a dozen, and some other narcissistic woman (I repeat myself) will be raised up to fill her spot.

But I certainly feel sorry for her children, who are innocent of the sins of their mother and father.

She had children? How did THAT happen? I have to imagine that, as a feminist, she was less than pleased at having that burden.

Whatever, I feel sorry for her children (and you can read that statement any way you care to).

Not trying to gloat over her death, but I echo Will’s “good riddance to bad rubbish” sentiments. Too many such feral women are wreaking havoc on the church and it’s past time that they be removed from among us.

Yeah, she had two small children. But she’d leave them with her husband when she went to do heretical speaking engagements and put on conferences.

Ah yes, the “Beth Moore Wife and Mother Methodology:” leave kitchen-bitch hubby to raise the crotch fruit while you go off being a YouGoGrrrl Superwoman.

“Many women say Rachel Held Evans is the reason they are a pastor, writer or have embraced their Christian faith”

I can at least say of them:

Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’

She was an apostate who couldn’t let go of her evangelical roots, so it was all salad dressing.

Christians need to stop dancing around her, she poisoned the minds of her generation and was a deceiver, and is reaping her reward.

      @Will S.

God will say. I never knew you to many “Christians”. What a shame that they do not have the spirit that guides them into all truth(John 16:13).

I think. Have they truly believed and received the holy spirit? For I do not think that a real Christian would remain deceived as to what is right and wrong.

Ever since I was saved and with my introduction into the Manosphere. God has guided me to believe the “sexist” and “misogynist” passages of the bible. And have revealed to me the fulfillment of certain prophecies.

He has shaped me to accept Orthodox christianity. As in the Reformed faith.
