    Daily showers are purely ‘performative’ and have no real health benefit, experts insist.

    “Hey, the people of Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and the Indian Subcontinent don’t bathe regularly, and their hygiene is just fine and they smell wonderful! And they enjoy such long and healthy lives, too!”

    what kind of idiot soaps his head and then goes on to soap his whole body while soap from his head drips down into his eyes? Does anyone actually do that?

    I often go a day without a shower, but not longer.

    Real men don’t shower that often – hahaha. What about those backpacking excursions with no shower for 5 days? Or, as a neighbor of mine relates – back in the early 1960’s, as a teen he’d go to deer camp with his father, uncles and male cousins on opening day for 2 weeks and no showers. Only an outhouse and no running water (well with hand pump only) nor electricity. Granted, that was in colder autumn weather, and, of course, you don’t notice if everyone stinks. :)
