Iran and sexual freaks politics

07 Aug

Iran.

https://genderidentitywatch.com/2014/06/26/iran-4/

oogenhand links an interesting account of how Iran ostensibly deals with homosexuals; because Iran apparently views transsexualism favourably, supposedly their medical system pressures homosexuals into ‘transgender’ operations.

Radfems versus trans, trans vs. queers; this is what you get when you mess with traditional sexual roles; you open a Pandora’s Box, with new conflicts generated, between different kinds of abnormal hate-filled, chip-on-their-shoulder freaks…

The real solution is NOT to pick sides, like Islamic fundy republic Iran seems to be trying to do, but rejecting all of them in toto, as we once did, here in the West…

    “We” in the West treated them differently. Look at the standards in Prot-countries (England, Imperial Germany) versus Papist ones. The Capital Punishment for homosexuals crowd was generally a Prot thing.

    I’d be happy to return to the Papist standard, once articulated by Joe Sobran as something like “I don’t want homosexulity to be illegal because I pity people afflicted with that particular perversion by God. It is their (very heavy) cross to bear.”

    Even SUGGESTING that homosexuals are to be pitied is probably a capital offense today. It is an affliction that shortens the lives of homosexual men (maybe women, too; I don’t know), and if it were a disease (well, it once was – See DSM IV), we’d be seeking the cure for it.

    Certainly, there were different responses – but both Protestant and Catholic societies alike took the view, and promoted it through society, whether or not by law, that we ought to, as a society, reject such behaviour, not condone it, but condemn it as immoral behaviour, in which one ought not to engage.

    In that sense, we in the West were united in our opposition to it, even if not in all the particulars…

    At what time was this, electricangel? I remember the Roman Catholic Church killing quite a few people that should have been pitied before the reformation, and until they lost their temporal power. I agree though, private homosexual acts shouldn’t be illegal, but things like pride parades should probably be restricted at the local level.

    Off topic, but still in the vein of sex freaks. http://www.abpnews.com/ministry/people/item/29054-baptist-leader-in-missouri-arrested-for-seeking-sex-with-animal

    @Kilrud
    “I agree though, private homosexual acts shouldn’t be illegal”

    Why shouldn’t bestiality done privately not be illegal by that same token?

    Both do not appear to effect the next generation like incest does.

    Not that I am advocating this course of action.

    Try creating a new forum topic.

    Or click through till you find an email address or a drop-down form or something. I forget what they offer; it’s been a while.

    Good point infowarrior, though I err on the side of nonviolence, so I would be ok with bestiality being legally tolerated. But you’re right, if one is illegal, the other should be. The only objection I can think of is that homosexuality may be more “natural” in that the proclivity manifests itself more often, and simply throwing all offenders in jail may be counter productive (prisons don’t usually house chickens with the inmates).

    @Will S.

    I precisely tried to create a new topic and “that” was the response.

    I see. Well, then look for some sort of other way to contact them; I’m not sure how, I’ve always used the forum, but I’m sure, somewhere, there’s a way to contact them.
