“Antisemitism” is a dumb word. It means hatred toward descendants of Shem…which would include both Jews and Arabs. So both sides are antisemitic semites?
I don’t have any Dispy affinity for Israel but I relate more to Israel since it is more Western, for good and bad. I don’t think we should fund their war effort.
Ultimately this is a pagan-on-pagan land war. Both pagan nations have a Christian minority population, so idk why that’s a trump card for the PA only.
What bothers me most is trad RW guys falling for the Palestinian “genocide” framing. Land wars are land wars. Two nations fight until one side can’t fight anymore, and the side left standing takes the land. This tactic of starting a massive conflict and then crying to CNN “wahhhhh they attacked our hospital where we keep all our weapons” would be a disgrace to pre-moderns.
There is really dumb propaganda coming from the Israelis as well, but some of the 10/7 pushback wasn’t warranted. The big one was everyone balking at reports of “decapitated babies.” Maybe it was a lost-in-translation thing, but the claim was more “heads got shot off” than “they ritualistically sliced off their heads with scimitars.”
I do think it’s helpful to hear from people who are skeptical of Israel, but the tradcons could stand to be more skeptical of the PA victimhood porn.

I don’t think it’s appropriate to fund one side over the other in a war of mutually intended ethnic cleansing half way around the world. Both sides pretty clearly want to drive each other from the land, and are willing to be killed rather than leave.
Here’s an idea: strip both sides of modern weaponry and let them fight each other with bare hands. Whoever emerges from the carnage gets the land.

For the record, the Palestinians didn’t start a massive conflict on 10/7.
Zionists from Europe started a massive conflict 80 years ago, and they haven’t let up, and I’m not saying that from a lefty “colonialism is bad” angle, it’s the simple historical truth.
It’s endlessly frustrating to hear American Christians reflexively support Israel, including claiming it’s more western, as this guy does, when nothing could be further from the truth.
I’ve been to Israel with Israelis, and traveled the breadth and width of the whole country. The Israelis aren’t any more western than the local Arabs, and that Christians think there is any affinity at all between Jews and Christians is a product of decades of heavy media propaganda aimed at ignorant Americans.
There are huge numbers of Israelis that will behave disdainfully towards you if they think you’re a practicing Christian, and even outright insult Jesus and Mary just to get a rise out of you and see if you’ll overreact, and yes, that happened to me a number of times, including on the plane ride over there.
Israel, through bribery, blackmail and propaganda, has swindled hundreds of billions from Americans over the past 2 generations, for territorial wars based on biblical claims that Israelis themselves don’t take seriously.
The whole thing is a rolling disaster, and not one that Americans should have ever played any part in, but we can thank Perfidious Albion for handing a chunk of territory over to Zionist terrorists from Europe, and kick starting 80 years of insanity.
