I’m trying to decide whether confronting churchian women with this suppository of common sense will unhinge them, or if they’ll enthusiastically accept the idea of legitimate”mutual submission” being adaptable and workable in every conceivable scenario.

They don’t become unhinged. They basically say something along the lines of, “We see it differently in our marriage”, or “Jesus said the one who is greatest among you is your servant (hence the ‘servant-leader’ trope)” or “The husband-wife relationship is built on an economy of love, not hierarchy”, or, or, or. I could go on and on because I’ve heard it all.
Usually, after all appeal to Scriptural or logic has failed, I default to something along the lines of, “I -literally- have ZERO desire to have sex with a man I can lead around by the nose like a little boy. It is not attractive to me at all, so I’ll keep my dominant husband and you keep your servant leader.”

the best model I thought was Athol Kay’s Captain and First Officer model. She’s not your slave and not Captain but she’s capable of running the ship when the Captain is away (like earning a living outside the home while the First Officer says home and keeps the ship orderly) or incapacitated.

As for women, which Roman it was who said the moment you make them your equals they will become your masters?
Yet, the majority of men have no problem with submitting to their wives and even liking it. I’m sorry, but men still have advantage over women, simply by the fact that they are stronger, tougher, more resilient and don’t go through menopause yet men refuse to use it. You guys have only yourselves to blame;)

women are more resilient. That’s why they live longer. There are 105 male births to every 100 female ones because the male of the species is more fragile. The other three facts remain correct, Sanne. Every woman knows that, for all the tough-girl talk, she is dealing with a creature with 6 times her upper body strength.

Yup. Gen Z is the embodiment of this.

There are a couple of reasons why Western men treat their women as equals. The first is that they’ve been conditioned/programmed to do so, slowly, over a few generations. People in general and men in particular were extremely susceptible to such programming back in the day (I’m thinking of the late 1960s/early 1970s when this social engineering started, back when I was a kid). I actually witnessed the transformation while growing up.
Second, the State, whose force and influence was behind this programming to make women men’s equals, has created a punitive system that reacts in draconian fashion to any man who would dare assert heads-up over his wife. Surely you’re familiar with the “Duluth Model,” which serves as the framework around which government classifies anything a man does to assert his authority over his wife as “abuse.” For this reason men think twice, thrice, or more about doing anything even remotely assertive.
