I don’t think it is way off base to be concerned, given the mother’s statement. If her son is indeed 4 months old, calling him a sinner while mentioning previous disciplinary measures would surely trigger a warning flag.

Nonsense. Christians know, we are conceived and born into sin, as well as committing it from our earliest days. Discipline can take different forms; progs are rushing, in bad faith, to see him into the worst possible light, as a child abuser – just because he’s a conservative black Christian.

SS is a black Canadian married to a white American woman, but I think they live in OH, not FL.
I realized a while back that he is a little too soft, not willing to say what needs to be said without sentencing the truth to death by 1000 caveats. Only on abortion does he seem undeterred and unwavering.
