Tempest in a chai cup

29 Apr

So the following flyer got progs upset, especially but not only in Browntown / Bramladesh

Oh well. It’s not bigoted; it’s a valid question, regardless of what ‘correct-thinking people’ think.

Nobody ever did ask ‘mainstream Canadians’ (i.e. whites) if we* wanted our country (especially in urban and suburban areas) transformed beyond all recognition, into something utterly and completely alien…

(*Yes, I’m only half-white, and am in fact half-brown, like those in the bottom pic, but dammit, I identify first and foremost with my Scotch-Irish heritage, and the East Indian half only a distant, distant second, far below the first in importance. Why? Because I’m an English-speaking Christian who was born and raised in rural Canada; this is my country, my heritage, not some far-away heathen land on the opposite side of the planet; I’m not a desi.)

Bite me, progs! We haven’t been fully cowed yet; we can still think these things and even say them. For now…
