As someone who has done her share of bookkeeping, lunch making, and invoice distribution for my own husband, there is absolutely nothing demeaning or less “empowering” about such a role. How silly is she to even think this was necessary? Another silly point at the end of the linked piece:
“According to the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), Dean’s Car Care does not have a blue seal, and is thus not considered a shop where a large percentage of technicians are ASE-certified professionals.”
My husband is an excellent mechanic, and has never been to mechanic’s school. The certification can be a good indicator, but this dude’s lack of a blue seal doesn’t tell you anything about his skill or lack thereof. This strikes me as a textbook Dem move, despite this being a conservative outlet: “He has no credentials, hahaha!” Why should we take him seriously?”
Maybe because he has a dolt for a wife, but not due to his lack of a blue seal.
