Well, same colors in the two flags, just in different proportions.

So, the mainstream news has discovered Russell Bentley. He fought in the Civil War when it was hot in 2015, coming over as a volunteer from Texas, his call name.
The first time I saw the Novorussian flag, my eyes came out on stems. It is an old Russian Navy Jack.
I love the Leningrad Cowboys. That is extreme Russian goofiness and a lot of fun. That had to have been from their All Balalaika Concert, in which no balalaikas were played.

They are backed by the Red Army Choir, but the Leningrad Cowboys are actually Finns.
Interesting fellow.

Speaking of Russell, we haven’t heard from him since yesterday and the mainstream news has turned rabidly anti-Russian.

I first found Russ via Andrei Martyanov’s blog.
He was an active duty Marine, he’ll be fine.
US Navy vet Patrick Lancaster is on the ground providing great coverage as well.
