    You know the funniest thing about that stadium? It’s supposedly inspired by a boat. I don’t think it looks a thing like a boat.

    Do you think the Qataris will allow it to be built as is?

    Hey Sasha, you’re welcome.

    Doesn’t look anything like a boat to me, either. 🙂

    I dunno; they’re a more liberal state than many of their neighbours, but they do have to placate the more devout Muslims within their borders; also, if they’re being laughed at by loads of foreigners, that too might impact their decision-making. We’ll see!

    I actually like the imagined look of this proposed stadium from the interior:

    Though I suppose some may object it looks like the interior of a sci-fi movie / TV space station. 😉

    But I’m sorta hoping they stick with their guns. Like Montreal’s The Big O, it may stand as a testament to folly, and as an example to others of what NOT to do. 😉
