“Liberalism, the noble annihilator, has hollowed out every institution, every binding force, every social failsafe and backstop, and its agents feign surprise when the liberating infanticide it promotes is taken to its next logical step.” https://t.co/tpSqatMWmL

Liberalism itself is a Trojan horse. An anti-concept and Rightists must not fall for the trap as I explain here https://dharmicreality.wordpress.com/2021/07/23/liberalism-is-a-propaganda-tool-not-a-legitimate-ideology/

The piece at 1776 is well written and hits the target.
I was born in 1969, and raised in a tight knit working class ethnic enclave. While the 70’s certainly had it’s share of violence and insanity, there was still a very strong foundation of normalcy and stability in the general population, and most folks organized their lives around family, community, church and practical common sense.
In my experience, the late 90’s, coinciding with the advent of the Internet and cell phones, were the point at which chaos really started to overtake the general population.
9/11 was another collective trauma event, like the JFK/RFK assassinations, that shattered what was left of normal sensibilities, and catapulted America into the abyss of insanity.
The election of Obama, and the birth of social media, sealed the deal, as that was the last barrier that shattered legacy America and brought us gay marriage, transexualism en masse, and the weaponization and institutionalization of Critical race theory and overt contempt for white Americans.
We have truly fallen over the precipice.

Agreed.
Alas; born three years later, I can’t believe how much everything is upside-down now.
The world I knew seems largely vanished.

I’m almost 10 years younger than Dave and I find the world nearly unrecognizable compared to the way it was when I was a child.

Yep. My wife is ten years my junior, not quite a Millennial. She thinks the world has gone nuts, too.
