This is a departure from Woodrow Wilson’s self determination of nations.
I think Wilson was a better Democrat. I don’t know what Joe Biden is.

Wilson was our worst President. Anti-Catholic bigot whose self-determination was aimed at the Catholic Hapsburg empire. Oh, and he segregated the Federal government. And the creation of the income tax. And the federal reserve. And the 17th amendment. And the 18th amendment, banning alcohol (another anti-Catholic move). And the 19th amendment. Put Hoover in to run the FBI, turning the keys to the country to a closeted homosexual. Joined war against Germany, causing them to put Lenin on a train to take Russia out of the war.

You are pointing to things that Wilson did. I am certain that future historians will support me in saying that Sleepy Joe is the worst we have ever had and we are not yet done with him. I don’t think that Franklin Pierce wanted to see that accolade be taken from him.
Saying Wilson forced Zimmermann’s hand to send VI Lenin to to Russia is a bit of a stretch.
