I dunno. We sheeple have been pretty fucking passive in the face of TPTB’s overreach, and TPTB in NYC are damned determinef to take OM down once and for all. And yes, they really ARE “that stupid.”
TBTH, part of me hopes they DO arrest Trump. It would be a gauntlet thrown down before all the blowhard “MAGA patriots” who’ve been all loud verbal flatulence and no action so far – just like their idol.

I’m hoping they DO arrest Trump. He had the power to stop the steal in 2020, and buckled under like a whiny little bitch. He empowered the lockdowns that empowered the mail-in ballots that caused his electoral disaster. Such incompetence deserves what he’s gonna get.
And lets the next mildly right wing person know what he has to do: utterly and completely destroy the Bolsheviks, rooting them out from all their sources of power.
