Many of them started out in life with at least average intelligence, but allowed society’s institutions to turn them into mindless imbeciles.

    Amen.

I now view ANYONE who works directly for ANY level of government as “the enemy” – along with a lot of (most?) people who work indirectly for it (i.e., obey it and enforce its oppressive and unlawful diktats). That includes people like “medical professionals,” academics, people who work in banking and finance, etc.

The reaction is gonna be UGLY for all of these people!

These are people who are mentally lazy. Under tyranny, things are all too predictable. Freedom, and its attendant Choice make things too complicated for these mental slugs.

But in the name of Freedom willingly rebel against God(Psalm 2) after Satan has been loosed after the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ.

They rage against the Righteous Reign of Christ by accusing him falsely of Tyranny. They love sin and would rather be ruled by sinful Men/Women.
