I agree, but I also believe there is another, simpler trait crippling patriots.
Patriots simply can’t seem to overcome their strongly-held belief that the opponents are never going to deal with them in good faith. Ever.

I would not put it past them. Even if they only freeze the account, people who need the money can’t get it. The problem stems from government believing that it can act criminally. I have the sneaking suspicion that this is going to get worse as the trucks near Ottawa. I can see police using the thinnest or pretexts to arrest drivers and impound vehicles.
