Some cause for optimism up here

27 Nov

NGL, EA’s right that things be grim up here, generally.

And yet…

Despite the entire political / government / media apparatus opposing / attacking them / all who support them, the РΡС managed to triple its percentage of the vote in our recent federal election, up to 5%, by being the only party to come out swinging against mask and vax mandates and lockdowns.

Not much, but under the circumstances, it’s impressive enough.

It’s an improvement. Something that can be built upon, slowly.

Because there are far more who sympathize with such perspectives, even if they can’t bring themselves to vote for the РΡС yet.

There are WuFlu speakeasies up here; establishments that thumb their noses at the double jab mandates.

One not far from me. Been there, many times; great place. People openly discussing revolt against the sanitary global dictatorship. Refreshing and encouraging.

So, all is not lost. 🙂

About the speakeasies, that is food news. I just wish the the PPC could get more traction against Erin O’Toole. He is the Canadian equivalent of a RINO.

Not controlled, more like token opposition.

Right, that’s what I’m getting at; token, indeed. 🙂

I am still mad at them for calling in the cops on David Menzies of Rebel News during the campaign. He was just trying to cover the news. It would seem that the Conservative Party has a track record to match that of Justin on stuff like that.

Herbert Hoover described prohibition as “the great social and economic experiment, noble in motive and far reaching in purpose.” Top down moral idiocy has been a pox on our houses for for a very long time

Fortunately, the only ironclad rule of human experience has been the Law of Unintended Consequences. Amen to the speakeasies.

That’s good news about the PPC. However, I think it’s obvious by now to everyone, everywhere (or should be) that we’re not going to voot our way out of this tyrannical insanity. There’s only one way to rid the world of the reigning Globslism. Unfortunately, the majority everywhere STILLL isn’t suffering heavily enough to stand up and put an end to it. I think that will change very soon (still, be forewarned: your NPC neighbors and family are a more imminent threat to you than the forces of the state and are probably the ones you’ll be literally doing battle with first).

    WB Will!

Great to hear the encouraging report about the other side of Lake Ontario.

We are lucky enough to have many places open here.

Sadly, I’ve been unable to find like-minded people. Everyone I know, save one fellow, dutifully ran out to get their jabs and boosters.

      Thanks goose!

Well, so did most up here, alas.

      But not all.

I am surprised there is not more skepticism. This is a completely new technology and is untested. To call it a vaccine required that the definition be expanded. I have a terrible feeling about this and I can’t be the only one.
As for vaccines, I did see a documentary on a real pandemic. A vaccine for Spanish flu was found some forty years later.

I just saw this and got really hot under the collar. Unvaccinated people having to take a backseat to get home because of flooding?
