Juneteenth should only be a holiday for black Americans, angry prog black Twitterettes say

17 Jun

Apparently having a racially-focused national holiday does NOT bring unity, but more division; whoda4seenit?

OK: free day off work only for blacks – so everyone else can have a day at work segregated apart from them. 😉

This really goes beyond jealousy to envy. What do you care if someone else has a day off?

It’s envy squared; not wanting something someone else already has, but wanting to get something that someone else doesn’t have, and ensure they not get it, either.

If it is going to be recognized at all, it should be Texas holiday. It’s regional, and never applied to freed slaves throughout the entire South.

So tiring. Who cares if white Americans get a day off? What about Asians? Mexicans?

Social media is a societal cancer.

Yes, on one hand, I’d love to have someone point out that these chicks’ binary black vs. white view of politics completely ignores Hispanics and Asians and others, and isn’t that rayciss, but on the other hand, I know damn well nobody cares when progs do that sort of thing; certainly, progs don’t.

Haha, I’m off on Juneteenth and eating the all white skittles. Take that. Lol.

(This is joke as I would never eat skittles.)

As for it only being a holiday for black people, I worked too many Labor Days. The irony is lost.

Thank you, you must have done a few your self. The irony is heavy.

Hey, you know those bumper stickers and signs that say:

“If you ate today, thank a farmer.”?

    How about T-shirts that say:

“If you’re free today, thank white people.” 😉

Someone more un-PC than I am would respond with something like: “So about 100 blacks get a day off?.”

Yup. I’m betting that most American knee-grows who adopt African names have ZE-RO clue what those names actually mean, or from what part of Africa they originate. I know for a fact that those who adopt Arabic names don’t have the vaguest clue what they mean. It’s also hilarious to watch them mangle/mis-spell Arabic names they way they do European names.

I can see it now: rather than pay out reparations in a lump sum our rulers instead just make up holidays where blacks don’t work but whites must work. The twist in this is that the whites will not be paid for their work done on these days but instead all moneys earned will be paid out to blacks. They could easily expand this to MLK Day then create a day for Saint George Floyd, Emmett Till, Medgar Evers, Rosa Parks, Trayvon Martin – the list could go on and on and on.
