Of course! Governments always have money to erect their idols.

It’s brilliant. It captures the essence of the American Negro. Stop looking through white eyes…

Has anyone seen any sculpture that was publicly funded that was not awful in the last forty years?
I still like the wood carving of Melania Trump in Slovenia, in making that, they didn’t try to be good. The real Melania is drop dead gorgeous, so why try?

Indeed. Public art is almost always synonymous in our times with shit.

If it were only literally that. Then, it would be gone at the next good rainfall and serve to fertilize the lawn. 🙂

Why are we honoring African culture on the American taxpayer’s dime?

That sculpture is abysmal, and since I’m not African anyway (We’re genetic mutts, and American by birth), I don’t see anything there worth celebrating.

Because governments erect monuments to their idolatry.

And since now the American State idolizes blacks, thus we get this.

The statue’s features look exaggeratedly simian. The sculptor must be raysis.

    Why go halfway?

Just put up statues of Baphomet and Moloch and be done with it.
