SpоrtsВаll Іllustrаtеd already had a trаnnу in their 2020 swіmsuіt іssue; now they have a ‘ВІΡОС’ one

17 Mar

Last year, they broke new ground with a trаnnу, but this year, they have a ‘ВІΡОС’ one:

What kind of last name is that; doesn’t seem typical for either of those… Hmmm…

Now, they’ve done the beached whale thing before, not once but twice

But when will they combine those with these? 😉

Maybe next year?

How the heck do they stay afloat?

Are their readers just total simps?

Or is/are some rich benefactor(s) keeping them afloat to push the Pozz?

Under normal market pressures, I can’t see them alienating their core audience and staying afloat for this long…

I can’t make up my mind if this open mouth pose in this case is just Wojak soyboy face or an attempt to ape silly young women doing it (NSFW), or both.

Either way, it’s not cishet manly…

I have not picked up or looked at a Sports Illustrated issue in more than ten years and I don’t miss it it at all. Who knows how they stay in business? They are probably dependent on more profitable magazines to carry them.

Last one I read was at a dentist’s office, years ago. I think it’s a magazine that hits best with young men, especially white men, but since our society has so few of those, they’re running out of audience. And with the anti-sports mentality, who would want to read about them?

I can see why you picked it up in that setting. You could easily put it down if called. I do remember it as a weekly and it was straight sports news. The swimsuit edition came out in the dead of winter to cheer up readers about the weather turning warm and it became an institution.

I had the SI 1992 calendar; back when female beauty was celebrated: Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Monica Bellucci, Christy Turlington, Elle Macpherson, Stacey Williams… When supermodels were curvy but not fat, slim yet buxom…

’92 was also an era before the models were sliced, diced, and pumped full of plastics by surgeons.

Indeed. Pretty sure all of the early 90s supermodels were all-natural.

The controllers are pushing bugs as an acceptable meat substitute.

They are pushing this creature as an acceptable substitute for women.

I think that we need to do more of this “Yuck!” Let them try to sell this stuff to feminists. That would be amusing. 🙂

They stay afloat because there is an enormous amount of money in the T industrial complex that is happy to subsidize this stuff.

A book just came out about this. I forget the title.

Both, I’d say. I don’t know of ANYBODY who reads SI anymore. Matter o’ fact, nobody even mentions it that I know, and I know A LOT of sportsball fans who focus on little else.

Under normal market pressures, I can’t see them alienating their core audience and staying afloat for this long…

Operation Mockingbird is still alive, well, and as heavily funded by the Deep State as ever. It’s focus has simply changed from what it was in the past. Nowadays they’re focused on ramming deviancy and degeneracy down our throats as they destroy us.

I don’t know what’s more dismaying, private citizens like Bill Gates or the Deep State like spooks bankrolling the pozz; I suppose the Deep State because that’s using taxpayers’ own money against them; yet the billionaires are deeply connected to the Deep State, anyway, in terms of favourable tax policies, etc., so probably makes no difference…

I think it’s becoming more and more obvious that one doesn’t become a billionaire without being the property of, or at least “playing ball with” the Deep State. Indeed, it seems increasingly obvious that most “billionaires” don’t really own the wealth that’s supposedly “theirs.”

I have SI coming to the house on a subscription. I have no idea who entered the subscription as it was no one living here. I never read the thing but I can hardly wait to look at the freak show coming up. I need a good laugh.

I don’t know if it’s the video quality or bad surgery, but their face looks really crooked and sliced up when they give answers to the reporter via remote link.

Print magazines have been out of business for 20 years, just like newspapers. They lost the income– advertising– to Craigslist. All that remains is
