Grifter invents new word to self-promote

15 Jan

Not a real word; a term she invented, if you look it up.

How very convenient.

Lecture on “what is…?” for a term she literally made up.

And MIT used to be a highly regarded STEM school.

Now they push this shit.

I wish that Trump followed through years ago after the riots for Milo speaking at Berkeley. Federal funds are creating SJWs. Now, I think tht everyone outside academia needs to stand back and watch it crash and burn.

It’s high time, once the reaction comes, that all government assistance for and subsidy of higher education end.

Feminists have been very persuasive for a long time.

And academia is what generates them, especially.

Misogynoir. Not bad, actually. I think I will embrace it.

You’ve never run across the term misogynoir? It’s made up, but I first heard it at least 5 years ago, maybe more.

It’s becoming a bit more mainstream, I suppose, if MIT is giving credence to it.

      Nope; first time. 🙂

      This woman invented it:

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misogynoir

For that reason, since it’s a word coined by one individual, who has shamelessly promoted it to self-promote her own parasitical rent-seeking, grifting career, I think we should reject it.

Languages are supposed to grow organically; not like this.

It’s like that made-up word ‘Latinx’, which actual Hispanics who are not ‘activists’ never use…

Yet more evidence (as if we needed any more) that academia is thoroughly compromised and rotten to its core. SHUT IT ALL DOWN!

Anyone who really wants to learn anything –literally anything— can do so through thousands, if not millions of resources online for free, or nearly free. That includes the ENTIRE curriculum of MIT, which was one of the first schools to put its entire curriculum on the internet, having done so over a decade ago.

The thing is, most people who attend university aren’t there to actually learn anything (heaven forbid!), but to obtain a piece of paper, a meaningless credential, that tells the world that they’ve checked a box on the Generic Upper Middle Class Lifestyle Checklist.

As for the AA grifterette who thinks she can ram a not-very-skillfully-crafted neologism down the world’s collective throat, she belongs on MIT’s janitorial staff, not its faculty.

      Yeah.

It’s sad that so previously reputable a school as MIT is going for this crap.

I don’t use the term. However, I occasionally read couple of blogs/YouTube channels that cater to black women (I am interested in cultural trajectories whether I agree with the narratives or not), and misogynoir is used quite a bit.

It seems to have taken hold, for myriad reasons, and I don’t think it’s going anywhere. You’ll probably see it more and more in the near term. If MIT is referencing it, it’s poised for the mainstream, particularly given this bizarre cultural moment we are all living through.

And I guess it’s like ‘latinx’, another word that isn’t going away, despite pushback, either.

      Ugh.

I hate Newspeak. As an Oldthinker, I bellyfeel doubleplusungood about it. 😉

        {Snort}

I think the nation can only heal once the oppressed southern states are liberated…

… from Washington, D.C., and the likes of Squeaky-Voice Cultural Marxist AOC et al. 😉

        Snort indeed.

We didn’t choose our leadership eyes wide open.

We are oppressed, or have some weird political Stockholm syndrome.

AOC is going to free us from the burden of the stupid that leads us to vote for men like Ron DeSantis.
