    To say that black people from Africa are related to the Firbolg is an insult. That could be the Milesian in me being prejudiced.

      It’s just absurd, is all.

      And it’s an obvious revisionist ploy to try to claim there have always been ‘people of colour’ in Ireland, when almost certainly there never were until very recent times.

        And Europeans, before mass movements of peoples, were all white, with some Asian admixture.

    Any black person living in cold, damp, cloudy Ireland without Vitamin D supplements would suffer a bad case of rickets. Black slavery never took hold north of the Mason-Dixon line because blacks were prone to dying of respiratory infections, while south of that line, whites were prone to dying of malaria.

    Stone Age people in Ireland had dark skin and were lactose-intolerant

    So that’s why they prefer alcohol?
