    Their idol has died.

    And isn’t coming back! 😉

Of course, how convenient for her to die now, eh?

Right when progs want to get out the vote…

She couldn’t have been dead for a while, and they were just saving it for now, could they?

I want to see fucking Cocaine Mitch move just as quickly to get someone nominated and confirmed as he moved to delay Obama’s would-be appointee.

If he’s any good, he’ll do so.

Seriously though, it seems the perfect time for her to die, just when there is little time to get someone else nominated and confirmed prior to the election, but enough time to stoke fears of Roe versus Wade being overturned to get out as many progs as possible.

I’m trying very hard to keep it classy, and not engage in schadenfreude as is my wont sometimes:

    https://patriactionary.wordpress.com/2019/05/05/ding-dong-the-witch-is-dead-its-schadenfreude-time/

The truth is, though, I am far more annoyed at heresy than I am at someone of a different faith not holding to orthodoxy of that false creed.

Thus, I am far less overjoyed at an old liberal Tribal hag’s passing than a Millennial heretic beyotch’s going.

Not that I’m unhappy or anything, though. 😉

I’m trying very hard to keep it classy, and not engage in schadenfreude as is my wont sometimes:

Why? Some occasions are divinely tailored for Schadenfreude on steroids, and I will assert that this is unquestionably one of them. Joe Biden’s flame-enveloped defeat in November will be another one, and the arrest, conviction, imprisonment, and ultimately death of Hitlery Clinton will be the greatest one of all.

I dunno. I caught much flack that last time.

But I have to say, far more than RBG’s passing itself, I LOVE the reaction of the progs. There’s where my schadenfreude is really happening. 🙂

Anyway, despite how this could galvanize progs, for now, I’m going to enjoy their demoralization, considering her passing, the senile demented candidate running for them, and what Betsy DeVos has just done to Princeton.

    Woo-hoo! 🙂

2020 has been awful; we need good news, even if that’s just the pain of our enemies; we needn’t rejoice in RBG’s passing itself to enjoy the misery it will induce in progs, at least tonight. 😉

Who gives a f@ck about her “wishes”? And “to be released upon her death”, like it is some sort of royal decree – the sheer arrogance of such a statement says it all!

Hey feeriker, maybe America’s breakup is coming even sooner than you thought:

For all the orgiastic wailing and gnashing of teeth on the Left and the psychosis-inducing panic on the Right, I’m just not seeing how this is truly the ultra-pivotal event of the moment in our nation’s history. Maybe I’m a bit denser than I feel comfortable admitting, but I’m just not seeing it, even taking into consideration the short-term political crisis RBG’s dirt nap is causing.

Quite honestly, none of it matters. We are all but assured of civil war and national breakup at this stage of events, so the question of who sits on the Supreme Court of a defunct nation is not only moot, but juvenile.

“[E]very city in America suddenly beset by SSRI-addicted childless millennial women in $30,000 middle management jobs weeping and rolling in the streets like North Koreans after the death of Kim Jong-il.”

The major difference being that most of the mourners in North Korea are coerced into publicly grieving. Not these creatures. Their lives are so completely devoid of meaning and purpose that they truly ARE in a state of mourning. Terrifying, the implications that has for the state of our civilization, even in its accelerated decay.

I don’t think that Trump can push through a replacement in the time before the first Tuesday in November. What happens when the court is stuck at four to four in a decision? Maybe we’ll have more rioting. It will be that much harder to dismiss it as not being politically motivated or enabled.

I think feminism just reached a milestone. They will not be happy campers.

It’s almost too bad that the Constitution doesn’t allow for the appointment of temporary stand-in justices (justice pro tempore?) in this situation. Imagine appointing somebody whose highest achievement has been presiding over some municipal traffic court somewhere and who is largely ignorant of federal law. I can’t think of a better inducement for the President and Congress to come up with a permanent replacement justice in very short order, AND for the court itself to avoid 4-4 deadlocked decisions while the “temp” is on the bench. Win-win all around.

        Feeriker,
That is one of the best ideas that I have heard in a long time. The idea of having someone in the wings who is pre-approved and can jump in with little notice should have been proposed a long time ago. These justices really do work until the last moment and that gives us little notice.
I guess that anything that ends up four to four has to wait for a ninth to hear it.

        September 21, 2020 at 10:23 am

That is a good idea, and no pre-approval. That way it would put the Senate’s feet to the fire to approve someone, and none of the drawn out BS we saw with Kavanaugh. If I recall correctly, the only qualification is to be licensed to practice law in one of the 50 states. Lin Wood could be the temp justice.

Don’t worry, one of the GOP appointees will side with the libs “to avert a Constitutional crisis and preserve the nation” as well as for the cocktail party invites. My bet would be Roberts.
