Ronn Neff: Green Party update: The GP’s candidate for president this year is Howie Hawkins. His running mate is Angela Nicole Walker.

Hawkins and Walker are also the candidates for the same positions from the Socialist Party USA.

Any questions? Ω

He’s right: see here and here.

In the time of FDR, socialists promised prosperity for the working man. Today they promise sustainability, which is another word for poverty. If you can’t deliver the goods, deliver something bad and call it a good.

If you can’t deliver the goods, deliver something bad and call it a good.

Or cheat, steal, threaten, assault, loot, and burn your way into power, and then rinse and repeat to hold onto said power as you destroy the country.

Is it that hard to find a Presidential candidate? Thanks for pointing this out.

“Is it that hard to find a Presidential candidate?”

Evidently yes, or we wouldn’t have an elderly dementia patient as a major-party candidate. As in the 1980s USSR, the old guard is dying off and the Dems can’t find any younger people stupid enough to parrot Marxist propaganda but smart enough to run a country.

If I were told in my youth that I would be witness to such blatant stupidity, I would not believe you.

        That’s a very tall order. 😉

Is it that hard to find a Presidential candidate?

Amongst the general population and in an open, honest, and fair election system, no, it’s not.

But that’s not what we have here. “Our” government is not a democratic republic, but an oligarchy – a stagnant, insular, corrupt oligarchy that is collapsing after over a a century of political incest that has been able to keep outsiders out. THAT is why one faction of the Uniparty is running a babbling, senile apparatchik as its candidate, a guy no non-retarded adult would ever consider voting for. They’re now delusional enough to actually believe that a majority of “The People” would accept this clown as Chief Executive (Figurehead) because, until four years ago, they had a lock on the system that kept feedback and correction out.

If we are in an oligarchy, they have gone insane. I am beginning to develop new respect for Putin.

The problem is more fundamental than that. In 1776, fifty-six prominent Americans signed a document declaring that it’s “self-evident that all men are created equal”. Few of them actually believed it; forty-one signers owned slaves whom they had no intention of freeing. Equality was just a rhetorical flourish aimed at King George. The only measure by which men are remotely equal, either as individuals or as racial averages, is body temperature.

Whenever a religion incorporates claims on Earthly reality, it works for a while because the founders ignore these claims or carve out unprincipled exceptions. Alas, subsequent generations don’t get the joke and eliminate the exceptions. As the gap between belief and reality widens, ever more ridiculous explanations are put forth — epicycles, negative phlogiston, luminiferous aether, witchcraft, miasmas, microaggression, systemic racism, etc. Our burning cities are not the fault of a few corrupt oligarchs; they are the reductio ad absurdum of liberal democracy.

So what’s next? I don’t know, but I’ll guess that it starts with “right-wing” and ends with “squads”.
