Where are all the great non-PRC coronavirus propaganda posters?

29 Mar

You know, in the past, when we’ve had full-out global societal mobilization, such as in World Wars I and II, Western nations produced not only informational / educational types of posters, giving people lists of helpful hints, dos and don’ts, regarding e.g. how to cut back on household waste from food products, loose lips sink ships, etc. but also produced motivational propaganda posters, of the “Yes, we can do it!” sort, encouraging the populace to do their part to help ensure Germany’s defeat and Allied victory, etc.

Other than the ChiComs, though, nobody else has produced much in the line of coronavirus propaganda posters, depicting coronavirus being defeated, having its behind kicked, chased by housewives with rolling pins, etc.

Sure, there are a lot of deadly earnest informational graphics, telling one how to best avoid contracting and spreading it, but little fun, motivational, over-the-top cartoonish agitprop.

It’s so boring!

I should think, if the powers that be had their hearts strongly in this crusade, they’d have come up with more interesting and fun graphics for a 21st century ‘war’, to help motivate their populaces…

Kinda makes one wonder why such haven’t been produced, by western governments…

Could we at least have the return of bird beak plague doctor masks as ostensibly in medieval times during the Black Death?

    Those were fun! 🙂

And new nursery rhymes, like how the Black Death gave us ‘Ring Around the Rosie’…

This post reminded me of 2016 and the realization that the left can’t meme. That is why they objected so loudly to Pepe the Frog.

This had me in stitches then.

This may have been the peak of the Meme War.
