Good for Richard Décarie

24 Jan

I’m not a fan of the Conservative Party of Canada, because they’re not conserving anything, but good for leadership hopeful Richard Décarie, for saying the LGBTQ lifestyle is a choice, opposing ‘gay marriage‘.

Of course, the way every prominent Tory is dogpiling upon him for his remarks, calling them unacceptable, bigoted, blah blah blah, tends to back up my view that the CPC is no place for those who hold traditional Christian views on sexuality; it was clear when Scheer got attacked over his traditionalist Catholic views and blamed for losing the election because of them that anyone who runs now is going to face the same chorus…

I wish Richard Décarie well, if only so he will cause a confrontation between the social conservatives and the progs who hold the actual power; I’m confident they will actually kill his chances completely, and let so-cons know they’re no longer welcome.

Then they can be free, like me, to consider other alternatives…

Who are you going to support? If you support a small fringe party who support Decaries’s views ( I support also), the Liberals will be in power forever. I think we have to realize that Canada is not a Christian society but secular.

I don’t care. If no-one will provide a viable alternative, let there be a virtual Grit dictatorship. Not gonna vote Lib Lite. Either Canadians can provide and choose a real alternative, or they can suffer forever under the Grits, far as I am concerned.

I fully realize, but it oughtn’t be so, and if Canada won’t bend the knee to Christ, may it go to hell in a handbasket, as it deserves.

Or fly apart into multiple pieces, whichever comes first…

I don’t disagree but it seems to me those alternatives are shrinking fast.

      Alas…

      Welp, there’s always separation!😉
