Burger King exploits mental illness to show they’re ‘woke’; generates backlash

03 May

You can’t make this shit up…

Burger King faces backlash after linking ad campaign to mental health, showing the risks of cause-based marketing

You’d think they’d have learned from Gillette, but nobody learns anything anymore, amongst ‘woke’ capitalists.

And all those meals were apparently the same regular Whopper in them. How absurd. Why, for instance, for the Pissed Meal, couldn’t they have included an Angry Whopper? Cross-marketing opportunity missed!

Idiots.

BTW, would meals entitled ‘YAAAS’ and ‘DGAF’ really count as unhappy?

Just a cheap marketing ploy playing on the expectation that the public’s lack of standards and decency of taste would be a winning strategy. They guessed wrong this time, but only because they picked a “protected” demographic group (the mentally ill) to mock in their ads.
