I’m glad I saw it before it became a ruin, and before the ruin was rebuilt into a mosque.

Me too; let’s pray the latter doesn’t happen, even though Raspail and Houellebecq would suggest it could…

I posted this over at Dalrock’s a short while ago:

“Looking at the news reports of this, I was as horrified as anyone else. However, the thought then occurred to me: “No one any longer reveres, nor even respects the One for whom this place was (ostensibly) built, nor do they any longer worship Him there. I therefore doubt that He cares that it’s being burned to the ground. Matter o’ fact, He probably considers the place to be a temple of abomination nowadays and is rejoicing at its ruin.”

I imagine that I (and maybe even the Almighty Himself) will feel the same way when (not IF) St. Paul’s Cathedral in London and Cologne Cathedral in Germany also go up in flames, almost certainly at the hands of the Nouveaux Europeans (people with names like Muhammad, Ali, and Abdullah).”

I wonder if THIS will be enough to wake France (and the rest of corrupt Western Europe) out of its stupor of apathy and surrender and get people to grab the ropes, pitchforks, and kerosene and start “cleaning house?”

If it is believed, rightly or wrongly, that this was an ‘accident’ as the authorities and media are already claiming, then no, this won’t wake up France and Europe.

If, however, despite the official line, people see this as either malevolent, or as divine retribution, maybe then it will…

Not to go all tin-foil-hat-conspiracy-theorist (who, MOI?!), but what is the possibility that this is Macron’s “Reichstag Fire,” an attempt to deflect attention away from the havoc Les Gilets Jaunes are wreaking upon his regime?

      I certainly wouldn’t rule that out…
