Britain now led by a political corpse

Yep.

Perhaps this result had been her intent all along; after all, she had been a Remainder, not a Brexiter…

The whole country is a zombie (as is pretty much the entire democratic West right now). While Britain’s current political situation is especially grotesque, it is, sadly, not at all unique.

    Dead lady walking, indeed.

Brother, I don’t know when I’ll get an answer, but I need one.

I just had this horrifying dream about hearing details through online forums about this ring of Satanist child abusers, and that some were near me, in my college. It was some city-dwelling queer, but I don’t know which. I remember thinking at one point that I had this extreme anger against them, but then this thought surfaced that I would one day change my mind on this. This led to fear that I would one day become of them through a sudden shift of opinion. I began seeing snakes that associated themselves with that cursed queer.

When I woke up, I felt the need to look up prices for burdizzos (animal castration devices used on humans too).

I used to have this same terror about blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, but these terrors have subsided. This took about six years. Should I wait it out? Or should I do something about it right now?

I know that “homosexual OCD” is a thing, where you are often driven to prove to yourself that you are a heterosexual because you are afraid of becoming gay. This dream isn’t the only time. One day during church I felt that same fear awash me like a black mixture of boiling hot wet gravel dragging my soul to the floor. I then considered castration too in order to prevent such a thing from ever happening. I have not had and never had such desires, but just like in that dream, I am worried that I may gain some sudden shift in mindset. I don’t know what to do. Do you have more than prayer to offer?

I’m afraid not; and I can’t offer any helpful advice (because I just don’t know) other than to seek out Christian counselling – and make sure it’s solid Christian counselling, not New Age psychology with a Christian gloss over it. If you have an elder you can trust at your church, talk to him.

Meanwhile, I will keep you in my prayers, as that is all I can do.

Not unsurprising, alas. A few years back, I visited Prague, and I attended a Lutheran church – it was an expatriate American LCMS congregation – and just before the service was a Slovak Lutheran congregation using the same church; I chatted with a fellow from that congregation after his service ended. Turns out his wife was the pastor… Yeah.

I don’t know. Hungary, next door, had more back in the day; they had their own Hungarian Reformed Church…

Now, there is also a PCA church in Prague, another English-speaking expatriates’ congregation…

    So there is that…

Yep. Russell Moore is on the take of George Soros; I linked something about that here once.

So none of this is surprising…
