Whoever wins, Britain loses

07 Jun

If Corbyn and Labour win the British general election tomorrow… Britain gets a hard-core left Labour government, and Britain loses.

If May and the Tories win by a narrow margin, Britain’s bargaining power in Brexit negotiations will be weakened, and Britain loses.

If May and the Tories win by a great margin, she will feel emboldened to enact draconian new legislation in terms of regulating the internet, and speech, and Britain loses.

Even if Brexit happens, if Britons end up suffering increased tyranny from London, having shaken the shackles of Brussels, Britain loses.

If only Nigel Farage had not decided to step down after declaring victory in the wake of the Brexit vote, Britain might have been able to win.

    Albion can only win if it turns Parliament into a Museum, closes down the BBC and the Guardian, turns Oxford University into a monastery for leftists, kicks out the moolies and mullys, conducts a Royal Inquiry with eventual arrest, trial and conviction of political criminals -large and small; lastly, that it stands up to America (or at least until America get’s itself a proper emperor. )

    What has happened in England now, and in France with Macron, is the defeat of the old left.

    Macron, and everything he stands for, is what the Ruling Elite are moving to.

    That is the real meaning of this election.

    The recent attacks, only underscore the problem for Corybn as he is a supporter of them.

    Still, how can the world’s oldest democracy survive if there is no democracy anymore?

    What will happen to the conservatives when they will be in power for the ten decade or more?

    May will win and end up as the UK’s Merkel. Modern “conservatism” really is the worst of all ideologies: heartless, hawkish and yet queer and feminist. Like an intersectional imperialism, transsexual soldiers torturing on Gitmo, female CEOs outsourcing your jobs to China, rootless cosmopolitans working to lower the taxes of international corporations with rainbow avatar on twitter. And, of course, an open border policy to import cheap labor, create more competition and hence bring down wages, drive up rents.

    And Labour and modern liberals essentially stand for the same platform. I know that Fox News and Breitbart are easily triggered by left-wingers waving “Free Palestine” flags but the last time a Labour candidate won the general election, he turned out to be one of the most fervent supporters of the neoconservative war against Iraq. The last time a left-wing candidate was chancellor of Germany (in a coalition with the Green party), he turned out to be the most fervent supporter of the neoconservative war against Serbia, Masha’Allah. Corbyn would end up exactly the same way.

      So now she’s backed by a party led by another woman, a party which isn’t particularly keen on Brexit… {Sigh}

      And she’s given another woman, the leader of Scotland’s conservatives, who is a lesbian, assurances she won’t enact a socially conservative agenda…

      One might hope that the DUP will at least force her to be strictly neutral rather than promoting any prog agenda items, but I won’t hold my breath…
