A Happy and Blessed Easter, to all!

16 Apr

Hallelujah, for the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth, Hallelujah! The Kingdom of this world is become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever, Hallelujah! King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, and he shall reign for ever and ever, Hallelujah!

(Revelation 19:6; 11:15; 19:16)

He is risen, indeed! Happy Easter, Will!

And thank you also for the Hallelujah Chorus. It’s so painfully rare nowadays to find anyone performing this at Easter. Ironically, in Handel’s own day, that’s when it (the entire Messiah, in fact) was ALWAYS performed.

And a happy and blessed Easter to you too, feeriker!

You’re welcome. Yes, funny how it became a Christmas tradition instead, when really, it makes more sense for Easter.

We sang it in church this morning, accompanied by choir, pipe organ, and brass ensemble. It was beautiful.

Oh, wonderful! I have done so at church on Easter Sunday in the past.
