Imagine having a life so utterly devoid of constructive purpose that this is what gets you exercised.

Nah, impossible … I’m just going to assume that this was destined for The Onion, but was picked up and published by BBC News either accidently or because it was an especially slow news day.

Yo, BBC, I think The Onion is gonna want their news story back.

It does seem more like their kind of piece… 🙂

Here is a climate change song:

It is probably not what Alex Marshall had in mind, mind you. 😉

    Ha! 🙂

Now THAT’S the kind of global warming song we need more of! 🙂

    Thanks Gerry!

You’re welcome, Will. He also has an excellent song about Obamacare:

That there are no songs or other cultural things associated with global warming shows for real that nobody gives a shit about it, one way or the other. I’ve found that in this era of maximum dishonesty that Lip Service becomes extremely important. One only needs to repeat established narratives then go back to whatever they were doing before being so rudely interrupted. Skip the conformist Lip Service and you will be called out as dangerous/deranged.

Indeed. If there were a market for ‘climate change’ songs, they’d be made.

    It’s that simple.

I only know one, an alt-country ballad:

Musically, I like it. Not a fan of Corb Lund’s politics, not all of them anyway, but always have loved his music.

According to Prog presidential candidate Bernard Sanders, global warming lead to the Paris terrorist attack. He claimed in a speech earlier this week that the Moslems are really on a rampage because global warming is causing desertification and they’re lashing out at resource-rich countries like France.

The other thing I find interesting is that a standard line about global warming is that the ‘rising sea level’ is devastating third world countries…leading to terrorism. What about the sea level in North America? Not affected? I lived in Southampton NY for 45 years and can say that there are many man made features on the coast line that were made before the War. Considering these features as reference points, sea level is where it was when I was a kid. An article popped up a couple of weeks ago which said the same mysterious thing about sea levels in San Francisco. You have to laugh.

Why, one might be tempted to view the whole thing as dubious! 🙂

Why does climate change affect only Moslems? Why isn’t it also turning Baptists and Anglicans and Presbyterians and Lutherans into suicide bombers and mass murderers?
