Swedish Lesbian ‘Bishop’ Calls for Church to Remove Crosses, to Install Muslim Prayer Space

07 Oct

Insanity. (Hat tip.)

The Bishop of Stockholm has proposed a church in her diocese remove all signs of the cross and put down markings showing the direction to Mecca for the benefit of Muslim worshippers.

Eva Brunne, who was made the world’s first openly lesbian bishop by the church of Sweden in 2009, and has a young son with her wife and fellow lesbian priest Gunilla Linden, made the suggestion to make those of other faiths more welcome.

The church targeted is the Seamen’s mission church in Stockholm’s eastern dockyards. The Bishop held a meeting there this year and challenged the priest to explain what he’d do if a ship’s crew came into port who weren’t Christian but wanted to pray.

Calling Muslim guests to the church “angels“, the Bishop later took to her official blog to explain that removing Christian symbols from the church and preparing the building for Muslim prayer doesn’t make a priest any less a defender of the faith. Rather, to do any less would make one “stingy towards people of other faiths”.

I can’t help but notice that this bishop is a woman. Isn’t it funny that the churches and congregations that allow female leadership in the church also turn out to be in favor of same-sex marriage, abortion and even in favor of this stupidity here. This sort of thing should be proof enough against ordaining women or putting women in leadership positions.

Feeriker’s Law: Whenever a “church” is named “Church of [x],” where “x” is the name of a temporal nation, that “church” is inevitably not only not even remotely Christian, but is in fact the very embodiment of secular humanist evil.

I cannot name a single exception to this rule, which only stands to reason; temporal nations and their quest for limitless authority over all things are the eternal enemy of the true Christian faith.

This is so sick it saddens me profoundly. Disgusts me and saddens me.

Indeed this is what happens when women are ‘in charge’. IT is a case of ‘caring’ above goodness, truth or prosperity. It becomes truly sick and ugly.

This woman did not join the church to adhere to its standards. She envied the church and wanted to destroy it and remake it in her image.

And that is what she is doing. It will fail… as her envy is an ever moving target. Just watch.!!!!

Its like that church is under the judgment of God that this strong delusion appears to be.

    1) A woman cannot be a bishop

    2) Any church that would do this is not a church

    3) People like this are bigger enemies than Muslims ever will be.

I think that it’s starting to becoming apparent that Eastern and Southern Europe are going to save Civilization because North America and Anglo-Saxon Europe is on their way down.

    @ feeriker: Yep.

    @ cecilhenry: Agreed.

@ infowarrior: No doubt; He hardened Pharaoh’s heart, recall, giving him over to his evil and wickedness.

    @ Mark: Agreed.

@ Eric: Indeed, it certainly seems so…

Imagine a meeting like this taking place in any Western government:

Women cannot be elders within a church, nor the teaching elder, not members of the consistory or a bishop: men who are to be elders must be either celibate or the husband of one wife and of good reputation in the community, and mature of the faith.

This twit of a woman meets not one of these tests.

I’m waiting for someone of Christian prominence, preferably within Sweden*, to denounce the “Church” of Sweden as a domain of Satan and call for its abolition. No doubt such an act would result in an arrest, conviction, and lengthy prison term, Sweden being a Prog-Stalinist tyranny.

(*Yes, yes, I know: good luck finding one of those in Western Europe, especially in Scandinavia.)

    @pukeko60

Elders and bishops are essentially venerable patriarchs that govern the church. The qualifications is as you said above.

    @ Chris: Exactly.

@ feeriker: No doubt it would be considered ‘hate speech’…
