This is okay, but I think it falls into a trap that the whole MRA movement falls into, that of a victimhood nobody will pity. I’d love to see something appealing more to a sense of re-awakening, of an inner revolt against the chains of our disordered age, a glorification of the true spirit of man. It’s a reasonable start I guess.
Don’t know if you have seen this, Will, but I think it provides a really excellent model for what the radical right should be aiming for on all issues, not just masculinity, this kind of aggressive, defiant, and inspiring style.

I think for India, this is rather bold. Their society used to be known for Gurkha warriors, but in recent years, as you can tell from these posters, Western-style feminism has been making inroads. (See also here, here, and here.) I find things like this, and this campaign, encouraging. Even if just baby steps, for now. (There is a different way in which Indian men have been recovering their spirit which I find more disturbing; see here and here. As a Christian, I am no fan of Hindutva.)
I do agree though that ultimately, it will be necessary for us to be bold and unabashed, and defiant, if we are to change things back. That Russian video is awesome! 🙂
