Is worth a pound of queer?

And, is that Caitlin Jenner carrying Bill Clinton across the thresh-hold? I’m sure they’ll be real happy in eternity together.

    @ feeriker: I know!

@ Lena: Do you or 7man have any more information about this, such as which mint manufactured it, and who commissioned it, etc.? Just curious.

7man looked around and it was Ceeco Mint. Here’s what one website said:

The Ceeco Mint’s answer to the Woman’s Liberation Movement of the 1970s was far less adventurous than USSC’s but still interesting and popular. It features a bride in a mini skirt carrying her groom over the threshold. While it is not a nude is is still in high demand by collectors of nudes as a curiosity from the times in which it was made and as a companion bar to the nude produced by USSC — (or maybe it’s the bride in a mini that makes it popular — who knows?). This bar measures 1.96″ x 1.14″, is one-ounce of .999 pure silver which is more than an old U.S. Silver Dollar. The reverse of this bar plain. Add this one to your collection today! 4,483 Mintage

They seem to have a lot of novelty and silly stuff, with nudes and so forth. It actually looks more ‘new’ and shiny than the picture captures for some reason.

I found the USSC one mentioned (I suppose we’ll have to look out for that one now!). (Contains nudity, for those who care). Pretty hilarious. Maybe it was all a joke after all? Who knows!

Oh well, that was a link but there it is. So much for the nudity warning, lol.

Here’s an alternate image with the naughty bits covered, lol.

I could definitely be persuaded that was our aw-shucks peanut-farmer globalist as the, uh, bride? It’s the corn-smile that makes me think I could have mis-identified that one!

I’m sticking with Caitlin on the groom-side though. The American stripes, the vague hint of medal dangling. . . I just feel like he/she/it needs some consistency and stability at this stressful time in his/her/etc. life. And I am here to help.

Not to get all biblical, but the Fine Ounce of our lovely couple reads 666. Gazing down from their point-of-view.

    Cheers! all.

@ Lena: Ah; thanks (you and 7man)!

Hey, thanks for the censored version; it allows us a closer view than the uncensored one, lol. 😉

    @ ray: 🙂
