Hillary Clinton: ‘Religious Beliefs … Have to Be Changed’ Toward Abortion.

NEW YORK – Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton spoke favorably about abortion, the contraceptive mandate in Obamacare and homosexuality during a speech at Thursday’s “Women in the World” summit in New York, stating that religious beliefs need to be changed over the issues.

“Far too many women are denied access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth, and laws don’t count for much if they’re not enforced,” Clinton said. “Rights have to exist in practice—not just on paper.”

“Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will,” she continued. “And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.”

The former secretary of state also spoke against the popular craft chain Hobby Lobby’s fight against the abortion pill mandate in Obamacare, stating that she believed it was wrong for the company to “take away” the reproductive choices of employees.

“America moves ahead when all women are guaranteed the right to make their own health care choices, not when those choices are taken away by an employer like Hobby Lobby,” she asserted.

So, we must change our beliefs…

Like hell we will! At least, not us reactionaries…

As previously reported, Tony Campolo, former adviser to then-president Bill Clinton, wrote an op-ed earlier this month calling for Christians to vote for Clinton as he asserted that she would reduce abortions in the nation.

“Hillary Clinton is one of the few candidates on the political stage who has a plan for cutting the abortion rate in America by at least 50 percent,” he claimed. “She is committed to addressing [economic] problems, and thus diminishing the urgency that drives so many oppressed women into having abortions. … As a pro-life Democrat, I am encouraged by the possibility that Hillary could be our next president.”

Anybody still doubt that the Progs are planning anti-Christian pogroms?

We’re constantly told that the religious must ‘repent’ to fit the Prog agenda (but of course telling a Prog to repent is ‘intolerant’ and ‘hateful’.)

If Hitlery is crowned the next president, I can’t imagine that anyone that anyone not in a coma will continue to take presidential elections seriously. The whole debacle with Ron Paul’s candidacy in 2012 should’ve eliminated any remaining skepticism.

The tax-exempt status is going to be washed away very quickly and people are actually going to be surprised how little resistance is mounted against this. From there, Liberals will pursue a policy of ratcheting up church taxes to make them too expensive to operate.

In the beginning, I was pretty sure they would crown this abominable woman president, but she’s actually pretty hideous as a politician. If she does get in, it is solely down to how clownish the Republicans have become and the sheer might of left wing social media.

@ Eric: I think it’ll start slow, with what Mark says – end of tax-exempt / charitable status for churches that don’t toe the prog line on homos. It will be interesting to see how many evangelicals stand firm, and how many capitulate… Hopefully most of the more solid churches – Catholic, Orthodox, and Reformational Protestant – will stand firm, and forego charitable status…

I think the progs will wait and see how many ‘Christians’ (i.e. churchians) end up capitulating, before deciding what to do next about the recalcitrant reactionary Christians like us. But no doubt, corporations will help do the government’s nasty work for it, by refusing to hire and promote / firing any Christians who refuse to sign on to new mandatory progressive position statements put out by companies…

Then, after that, the government may bring more pressure to bear on the few Christians left…

We will live, as we already are living, in ‘interesting times’, as per the old Chinese curse…

@ feeriker: I was sorry that Ron Paul didn’t do better, indeed…

@ Mark: That makes sense; I can see that happening, indeed, sadly.

Regarding taxation of churches, that might actually be a blessing in disguise.

Because “incorporated” 501C3 organizations are the low-hanging fruit, and thus the easiest pickings, they’ll be the first to be tax-raped. But who cares? After all, these aren’t real churches anyway.

My point is that taxation might just serve as the death knell for churchianity, which can only be a good thing. Sure, MANY such organizations will capitulate to Caesar’s diktats in order to reduce their tax burden. But hey, haven’t they already been doing Caesar’s bidding for DECADES?

Out of the ashes just might arise the newly reborn New Testament church of real believers. Think of it as cure of a 1,700-year-old crippling disease.

That’s true, feeriker; it would be great to see the antithesis become clearer, as Reformed say; to see the chaff / tares fall away, leaving behind the wheat.

      A blessing, indeed!

God’s commands must change to conform to the commands of Hillary, Team Fem, and etc.
Hillie’s will doesn’t count for much if it’s not ‘enforced’.

Thus the Women in the World Summit is assured that its evil works are good! and is promised further enforcement.

Like many, Hillary is expert at threatening God’s people, while making it appear she’s only interested in the Safety of Women. Knowing this also is the interest of most women.

It’s not even good soap opera. It really is just banal . . . predictable and foul, like menses. :O)

      Ha! 🙂

      Agreed, ray.

I think you’re right—there will be things like revoking tax-exempt status on non-Prog churches. We’re already seeing that with accreditation being revoked for Christian schools, and Corporate America and the military purging Christians; along with small businesses being legally prosecuted &c. So it’s already starting slowly and building up to even greater anti-Christian actions.

Unlike the neo-cons, we reactionaries should be under no illusions that big business is inherently a societal ‘good’. In fact, much of the time, big business is wicked, because it’s self-interested, only concerned about the bottom line, untempered by any restraints, whatsoever, in our current age.

History has shown repeatedly that Churchians who compromise with Progs (i.e. Jacobins, Bolsheviks, and Nazis) weren’t spared from the guillotine, firing squads, and gas chambers once the Progs felt they’d served their purposes.

Ironically, the Progs are actually being more realistic, since they probably figure that anyone who isn’t loyal to his religion won’t be loyal to Prog ideology either.

Yes, that is encouraging. Hopefully Jindal will shame some other cowardly politicians into action.

Think of it this way: if all the states that opposed fag marriage followed Jindal’s lead, how could Corporate America prssure them? They’d be relgated to a few liberalist enclaves.

Apparently, Corporate America is happy to kiss ‘flyover country’ goodbye, in favour of their N.Y. and California friends… That shows what Corporate America thinks of the rest of Americans…

    An echo, in this:

‘There Are Still … Minds to Change’: Obama Hosts ‘Gay Pride’ Reception at White House

Religious beliefs, and people’s minds, need to be changed on abortion and homosexuality, say the prog top dogs.
