    I would say this is more theologically sound and closer to real worship than contemporary “christian” music.

    A lot of metal from the 80s and early 90s has substantial Christianity in the boot sector. “Please God Help Me!” is a pretty frequent line in a fair number of songs, often in exactly those words.
