I can’t be arsed to so do.

The difference being that you actually feel sorry for the turtle. The turtle also can’t do any damage on top of the post (unlike Obama).

The poor turtle just is an innocent victim of someone with a warped sense of humor — rather like the hapless Americans who sensibly voted against Øbama, but who are nonetheless stuck living with the mayhem and destruction he has inflicted on all of us.

    Indeed.

Here’s something funny: a prog followed me here from another blog at which we were both commenting yesterday, and tried to leave a whiny petulant implicit accusation of racism here, as if we thought Obama’s being out of his depth had more to do with his racial background than his sheer incompetence as an individual. And he more or less implied that the same joke could have been made about Dubya, that we only disliked Obama because of his race.

But, funny thing, I don’t recall Obama ever accomplishing anything near what Bush did prior to becoming president.

Did Obama govern a state before he ran for president?

What, exactly, did Obama accomplish, before he ran for president?

Oh yes, that’s right. He was a ‘community organizer’. IOW, a rabble-rouser.

    That’s it.

But no, we’re just racist, that’s all.

    Ya gotta laugh.

    Will:
It’s interesting you should mention that because John McCain pointed out Obama’s same lack of any meaningful experience/accomplishments during the 2008 campaign. Even Sarah Palin had more achievements than Obama had (she had risen through Alaska politics to governor after a fairly successful media career).

Exactly, Eric. Sarah Palin has achieved more than Obama had done before becoming president.

    That’s telling, innit? 🙂
