And, as mentioned, that PSA

Personally, I liked the Nissan ad. It showed a masculine father in a masculine sport and then revealed Nissan’s new LeMans car. Which is awesome.

    I suppose there’s that…

It’s the subtle background message that’s the problem. Read the full lyrics of Chapin’s “Cat’s in the Cradle”. The song doesn’t have a happy ending.

As hard as it is to believe, the femihags don’t think that the NFL is doing enough to appease feminism. It’s like their attitude towards the Catholic Church; it won’t satisfy them unless we have a fag pope and an all-femihag College of Cardinals.

Anybody who wants to see a template of the femihag future for ANY male-dominated institution just look at what Obama’s military looks like LOL

@ Carnivore: Indeed. I actually like ‘Cat’s In the Cradle’, and think it’s a good warning – don’t be that kind of dad.

But not ideal for an ad, like that.

Ugly Kid Joe had a great cover of it:

    @ Eric: No doubt.

Ah, yes. ‘Like a girl’. Joseph of Arimathea covered this on his blog. Again we have the ridiculous trope of egalitarianism among the sexes.

Why is “like a girl” an insult to boys?

    Hmmmmmm, let me think.

Oh yeah, because a boy is supposed to do things *shock* like a boy! What’s next, we want fish breathing like cows? Let me clue the leftists in, this would result in a lot of dead fish.

For me, the most overt and vile propaganda associated with the broadcast was the ‘Like a Girl’ mindwipe — which included the humiliation of a little boy being made to ‘confess his sexism’ before the bullying announcer, Ms. Incognito. Absolutely shameful and loathsome.

Of course the vast majority of girls DO throw a ball and fight precisely Like a Girl <– no hashtag. But the truth offends females now, and likewise it enrages their male beestie boys. They're all busy playing Empowered Pretend with the lives of the rest of us.

One can only hope and pray that, instead of learning to kow-tow to women, little boys get annoyed by such ads, and rebel against the messages of them.

Pray is good. King Jeshua is already on your side in this one, so that door’s wide open.

But also we can aid and protect and defend those boys, too. As many as we can, in as many ways as we can. Let them know that their masculinity was given by God our Father, and that they should never be ashamed of that unique, precious gift. Especially when jealous punkettes are pressuring them to confess their ‘sexism’ before the Media Circus of Femborgville.

Only the angels, and the Sons of Adam, received the masculine essence of God. So the spirit of some of them, as you say, will rebel against the agit-prop. It’s difficult for many, because without dads, especially good dads, it’s hard to grasp the Father. Some of us can (must) fill in the gap there, without supporting biological fatherlessness and single motherhood. The boys of the nation really are worth it.

I didn’t watch a second of the Super Bowl, or any of its associated brain drain, and this is the first I’ve seen these. Typical epic commercial-length fluff drama 🙂 As Carnivore said, Cats In The Cradle was hardly celebratory of fatherhood. But the commercial left out the crucial part of the song…the hopelessness of the cycle of bad parenting, in general. Very convenient of advertisers in taking songs out of context.

Also, you can note here the generational shaming. The order kids give the correct answer, both boys and girls… Then the new young brainwashed kids (supposedly unprompted lol) give the politically correct answer. It is to say “you don’t want to be associated with an old fashioned dying idea of how things work. Join us in insanity!! Soon everyone will believe as we do. The children are already ours!”

    The enemy is loathsome.

    @ ray: Indeed.

    @ Carnivore: D’Oh!

@ SE: That is typical behaviour for advertisers, unfortunately…

    @ Mark: Loathsome, indeed.

Ugh…following up on the Bruce Jenner story, ‘Inside Edition’ made the following announcement today:

‘Zoey’ was formerly known as ‘Chopper Bob’ (LOL—talk about irony) and gained fame as the helicopter pilot who tracked down OJ Simpson during the 1994 manhunt. Now, as ‘Zoey Tur’, Bob’s gained notoriety as the first transgender news reporter.

“I want to thank Inside Edition for their support.” Zoey gushed, “In what’s shaping up to be America’s last Civil-Rights fight.”

I have a feeling Zoey’s wrong about this: It likely will NOT be the ‘last’ so-called Civil Rights fight in America.

As a public service, I decided not to post any of Zoey’s hideous pictures. Enjoy instead what guys elsewhere see on the nightly news:

Thanks for sparing our eyes, Eric. 🙂

There will always be another civil rights fight; the Left will never be done…

Spot on, Mark. Not one trick missed in that PSA. Coercive and totalitarian.

WTF is going on in this country?

First we get NFL Public Service Announcements telling us not to objectify women: then they re-create Babylonian fertility rites for a halftime show.

Then we get Bruce Jenner and Chopper Bob lauded as heroines for trying to become uglier women than most femihags.

Now, Sports Illustrated is featuring FAT swimsuit models and telling men this is the New Normal.

Pfffftttt….now I’m obliged to post another foreign celebrity just out of spite and so American men don’t forget what the real thing looks like:

I guess Sports Illustrated doesn’t want MEN to read them!

Therefore, men should oblige them, and not read SI.

Thank you for both not assaulting us with a visual of Ashley Graham, and thanks for sharing the lovely European lass. 🙂

LOL—you’re welcome. On a more serious note, I think that Ray is onto something—it seems like over the last couple of years or so there’s been (especially in the US media) a real blitz going against heterosexual men. It’s been around for a long time—especially since the Clinton Administration—but seems recently that the American media is really going out of its way, not only to marginalize, but demonize and go after normal men.

I’m anticipating that this is going to get a lot worse, especially as the US nears the end of the Obama Administration.

    I agree, Eric.

Yes, it will only get worse, over time.

Hi Eric. I think Ms. Jenner may want to ponder current events and reconsider. Death seems to be following him/her/it around.
