American Sniper Chris Kyle was proved a liar by Jesse Ventura, and HarperCollins may owe the former governor millions

I linked this story in my linkfest earlier today, here; this is another account of it.

How telling, that the latest dead neo-con hero thrown up by the media / entertainment complex auxiliary to the United State, i.e. the American Imperial regime, was a liar, in addition to a killer of 160 foreigners who didn’t personally bear him any ill will prior to his going to their land to enforce the Empire’s will.

This is the sort of man who they think Americans should see as a national hero… Such reveals the character of the makers and promoters of this agit-prop movie…

    Will:
There’s something that strikes me as ‘off’ about guys like Chris Kyle. There’s something not quite right about guys going around bragging about their killcounts, let alone inventing further stories embellishing on them.

I realize that men are warriors and sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Sometimes the only way of stopping the force of evil is an equal or superior force—it’s simple physics. But there’s wrong with guys who like to draw attention to themselves because of that.

I can’t quite put my finger on what that is, maybe some others have some insights.

I agree, Eric. I don’t understand why he wouldn’t simply brag about the things he actually did, rather than make up all sorts of other shit, as he did. He’d still be a braggart, but not a liar.

Anyway, he’s dead now. So Hollywood naturally will buy into all his lies, to make him a hero.
