Let‘s zero in on that last paragraph. When I dipped my toes into the manosphere five years ago it was a largely a group of  men looking to reassert their authority, take back what belongs to them, and not let thelittle woman” get her way. This was attractive and something to support from the sidelines; just as men support revivals of femininity from the sidelines.

The men that talk straight about what it will take to fix this get pushed out by the women. Even the women in the manosphere. Other men are uncomfortable with the straight talk, and so they help push those men out. Comments get moderated, deleted, or ignored, and the commenters blocked or banned.

This is why there is a male-only policy at:

With tight control by moderators that ban trolls and feminine-primacy.

@ TSK: Alas, that happens all too often…

@ infowarrior1: It’s a smart policy; even if we here don’t choose to go that route exactly, I see its merits.

AVFM has always been a joke. MRA is just the Hegelian antithesis to feminism…in other words a controlled opposition

Certainly, when they invoke the language of ‘rights’ they sound scarcely different…

We here at Patriactionary are neither MRA, MGTOW, or PUA, but we are of the manosphere, too, same as all three of those groups…

    Tan S:
You’re right: the bulk of what passes for the MRM anymore is little more than the controlled feminist opposition. They have a vested interest in keeping the ‘gender wars’ going and largely for the same reasons.

There are a few Manosphere blogs (like this one) that hold true to cause of men, but they’re getting fewer and further between.

      Thanks for the compliment, Eric.

We try. As much as possible, I have as little to do with any ‘cult of personality’ women who have glommed on to the manosphere clearly for personal attention, far as I can tell. They may say some of the right things, but you can often tell it’s all about their egos, and some have been exposed for frauds and charlatans, making up false narratives about themselves, presenting a false face to the world. (The same is true of some men in the manosphere, of course, and likewise I try to have as little to do with them as possible, too.)

Pretty disgusting weakness if you ask me. I always had some disdain for the rush to defend oneself from the left’s silly accusations. When you grovel and kowtow petulantly scream “i’m not a bigot!” all people conclude is that you are a whipped dog.

If people mischaracterize your views in an intellectual way, correct them sharply and confidently, but do not engage with those who have no bearing to question you nor desperately try to appear moderate.

I am an extremist. The things I blog about are extremist positions (at least in this part of the world). The radical right position embodied in anti-feminism and the host of other interests (anti-globalism, anti-secularism, anti-multiculturalism, anti-democracy) would find far more adherents by simply being honestly extreme. Don’t try to hide what you desire for the world. This betrays that you don’t really believe what you say.

Be bold. Be radical. Be right.

We all very much appreciate that. Makes it clear you aren’t an armchair ego-stroker like various Manosphere bloggers who won’t be named.

Damn straight. The progs would crucify us, anyway; might as well be unapologetic, unabashed, and speak the truth, a revolutionary act, these days…

“We all very much appreciate that. Makes it clear you aren’t an armchair ego-stroker like various Manosphere bloggers who won’t be named.”

Thanks, man! Yeah, there are far too many of those around.

“The progs would crucify us anyway.”

That’s true and too many in the Manosphere and Churchianity don’t get that. Look historically at how progs treated collaborators: the Jacobins, Bolsheviks, and Nazis saw these appeasers as nothing but useful idiots.
