    I thought that cartoon wasn’t serious, then I looked at a map: they obviously landed on the North American West Coast, and Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, and San Diego were their original colonies!

    @ infowarrior1: I have heard that before; what I read, was indeed that women were against them at the time, because men would go, and spend hours getting together there with other men to chat, debate things, and just plain socialize. Another example of womenfolk hating men’s pastimes, anything that doesn’t involve them – as usual…
