Strip Club Dancers to Protest Topless Outside of Ohio Church During Sunday Service.

WARSAW, Ohio – Dancers at an Ohio strip club plan to protest topless outside of an Ohio church during this Sunday’s services, reports state.

New Beginnings Ministries in Warsaw has been standing against Foxhole North in Walhonding for several years, and the strip club has protested the church in return. In 2010, the matter made headlines after dancers from Foxhole showed up outside of the church in bikini tops while holding signs quoting from the Book of Matthew, such as “Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing” from Matthew 7:15.

“Everybody has sinned, and that doesn’t mean I’m not gonna get into heaven,” stripper Laura Meske told the Associated Press. “I believe in Jesus. I don’t believe what they preach. They preach hate.”

“You don’t stand up there for years for hate. That’s not hate. That’s love,” replied church member Debi Durr, as a fellow congregant offered food to the strippers outside.

Interesting. Protest / counter-protest; to be expected, I suppose.

To play ‘Devil’s Advocate’ here: I’m wondering what the motivations of this church are protesting such a club in the first place? After looking at Debi Durr’s photo, I’m smelling a bit of femiservative/femihag jealousy in the room!

    @ Eric: I don’t know. A good question.

I also wonder whether it’s a good idea to bother, given what it has resulted in: people on their way to church, assaulted by visuals of topless women.

Might be better to ‘live and let live’, and not directly protest against the club.

Good thing these intelligent creatures were granted suffrage and ‘rights.’

Speaking of which, if they’re gonna protest with quotations of Scripture, I think the church should challenge them to a theological debate on the meaning of Matthew 7:15. It’d be fun, esp. if they came topless or in bikini tops. 🙂

What you need to do with vice is contain it to a part of town, and then kind of wink at it. It’s called a “red light district.” You can’t eliminate it, but you can contain it.

Once you’ve done that, then you can surgically carpet bomb the place.

With neutron bombs, so as to not destroy as many historic buildings – and to make the radiation deaths slower, giving time for others to be infected with the radiation, too. 😉

I just seems to me that if Churchian/Christian women want to get rid of things like porn, strip clubs, escort services, prostitution, &c., they should work on reforming their own gender so that men have better options than these kinds of ‘alternatives’. When men have good wives to go home to (or single men have a good probability of finding one) there’s no need for these kinds of services.

But that’s decidedly NOT the case today!

Indeed, Eric; they have the ability to make such alternatives disappear, if they change their attitudes.

    But they won’t, these days…

Ten years ago when I was living in a Northern Virginia suburb, a small adult book and video store opened up in an old house turned business building, on the edge of a main business route. For the first two months after it opened, there was never more than one car in the parking lot, and that was probably the owner/manager’s. The guy probably would’ve gone out of business in short order – until some local churches got wind of, and decided to raise a major stink about his presence.

No doubt.you can guess the ending of the story. The pornshop owner got more free publicity than he could ever want, his parking lot went from empty each to overflowing, and far from closing up shop, he had to build an additional wing on the building to fit his expanding inventory.

If churchians had as much brains and common sense as they have self-righteous indignation, they might actually be able to accomplish something positive someday.

When men have good wives to go home to (or single men have a good probability of finding one) there’s no need for these kinds of services.

If “Christian” women did that, they would:

    1. Have nothing to bitch, whine, gossip, and complain about and no excuse to meddle where they don’t belong.

    2. Have to behave like loving and submissive wives as the Scriptures command of them (they would sooner be gang-raped by satan-worshiping bikers and burned alive).

    3. Have to make themselves into marriage material (see above for what they’d rather suffer).

    4. Eliminate their own chances at carousel riding (and if you ask how that makes them in any way morally superior to the strippers they look down on, then you’re a heathen misogynist pig).

Watch the trailer at Cane Caldo’s.

There’s modern churchian women, in a nutshell. Despising their husbands; having the hots for tattoo artists / bikers…

Dalrock did an extensive review/commentary on this piece of churchian pop-culture trash right around the same time. Apparently it was so badly made that even its shallow, selfish, juvenile target audience couldn’t get into it. It’s probably already out on DVD/BluRay.

Yes, I linked Dalrock’s post, or at least a post of his mentioning it, in that post.

    Feeriker & Will:
After watching the trailer at Caldo’s blog, I think it did poorly at the box-office for the same reason the movie ‘Idiocracy’ did. Nobody realized it was supposed to be a comedy! LOL

How about a scene like this for a ‘Dad’s Night Out’ the husband having to rescue his bungling wife from sadistic thugs? LOL

I’m not sure protesting outside the club in the first place was the brightest idea, as look what it led to… They will behave like this, tit for tat (pun intended 😉 ); we therefore need to be smart…

Fine by me… Nothing like t*ts in the morning to start the day off right… I get brownie points for going to church, and get to HOPEFULLY see a couple of nice pairs too… What’s not to like?

An eyeful without moral culpability; win-win! 😉

(No brownie points for church, though; can’t earn anything; still, better than not going, in His eyes. 🙂 )
