Photography interlude: Eastern Ontario winter

05 Jan

I haven’t done one of these in quite a while; figured it was time I did another.

Just before Christmas, we had a nasty ice storm, which provides great opportunities for interesting visuals.

Of course, the weather has already changed twice since then, but that’s what’s I enjoy about photography: being able to capture a moment, before it passes, and preserve it, henceforth.

My, my, you’ve got an eye! Really like the two of trees in the sunset.

Thanks Carnivore! I love the light in late afternoon and just before / at sunset, makes for interesting compositions, IMO. The same is true with early morning, just that I often find it difficult to rouse myself for such opportunities unless I’m already up and about with my camera. 😉

Beautiful shots of the Eastern Ontario winter!! I’m stationed in Southern Ontario. Love this winter. Love this land.
